PLANNING

As a matter of routine the Parish Council is informed of any planning applications originating from the parish for their comments and observations, if any. The Parish Council do not have the power to approve or reject any plans - they merely act as a body, with close local knowledge, to advise the relevant Harrogate Borough Council
planning committee.

MEETING 19th AUGUST 5.30pm COUNCIL OFFICES
The District Development Committee are meeting to discuss the next stage of the LDF. What they are being asked to approve is the final consultation on specific sites in the rural villages for the next LDF. Note, they are being asked to approve the contents to consult on - not to approve the actual sites.

The attached link (item 6) is an 8mb doc with all the villages, their proposed development limits, and which sites would be 'preferred sites', with an idea of how many homes could be accommodated on each.
